Marc Jacobs

The New York based designer has definitely paved the way to become one of the most influential designers in the industry today. Born in New York in 1963, he got his attention when we invented the grunge look and was fired from Perry Ellis. Since then he created his own label with Robert Duffy by his side. And in 1997 he was appointed by Bernard Arnault to become the head creative director for Louis Vuitton. Through out his career he has been very successful on revamping many old trends or looks and bringing them ever more exciting. Not only with his design aesthetics, but also bringing them with fun and frills with his attitude and personality
